This week, over at Lifehacker, I tried a simple Mac application that blurs all but the currently open window. I find it sincerely useful when I’m trying to write and it made me think about how much I like finding little productivity tools that make focusing just that much easier. Do you have any favorite apps like that? Please share them with me—the comments are open. Here’s a few other things I wrote this week.
- How to Get Windows Games Working on a Mac WIRED I thought this would be quick to write but ended up down a pretty deep rabbit hole. I hope the final result is useful for people.
- Windows Has a Hidden Package Manager Lifehacker Installing software by typing commands is so much faster. I’m not joking.
- ‘Redact’ Can Delete Your Posts From 28 Different Social Networks Lifehacker There are a lot of apps like this out there now, helping you delete old posts. It would be nice if more of the social networks themselves provided this feature.
